Is the GameSir X4 firmware issue resolved?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering getting a GameSir X4, but I’ve been hesitant due to several reports I’ve seen regarding firmware update issues. I’ve come across many videos from creators in my country and older threads here on Reddit warning users not to update the controller via the official app, as it could lead to connectivity issues or even brick the device. I haven't been able to find recent information on whether this has been patched. I wanted to reach out and ask the community:

Is it still risky to update the firmware through the official app?

Have there been any recent firmware versions that actually fixed these problems? What is the current consensus—should I still avoid the update or is it safe to proceed now?
