Are we allowed to bring headphones into the stadium?

I'm going to a NJ/NY match at MetLife stadium. I wanted to wear headphones around my neck (the clear bag I have is kind of small, so it won't fit in there). Do y'all know if this would be an issue? I'm not very familiar with sporting and concert events.
