Papagayo Weather October

I already booked my honeymoon for October 6-13 this year in Papagayo. I made the mistake of not checking weather before booking, and I've been seeing some conflicting information - some places say that weather is rainy most days, but mornings are typically pretty nice; other places say that it's constant downpour and the trip will be ruined.

I'm okay with some pretty consistent rain, but if the weather is so horrible that we can't even leave our room the whole trip and can't travel to/from the airport, I'm thinking maybe I should try to reschedule the trip for a later date. Not sure if I'll be able to though.

My question is - is the weather really that horrible in early October? Or if we're fine with some fairly consistent rain, could it still be an enjoyable trip?
