I proposed to my gf half asleep

I was half asleep when I asked my girlfriend to marry me. The next day she asked me if I wanted to revoke it. I said yes only because I imagined that moment being so different - not because I don’t want to marry her I really do. But I’ve really hurt her by doing this and she’s really really upset (rightfully so). I now have a ring and I want to do it properly, should I wait until we’ve gotten past the hurt or do it now how I wanted to do it? This happened two weeks ago
