Can I take UNIV 1001 while my high school diploma translation is still pending?

I was admitted to UoPeople and need to submit a notarized English translation of my high school diploma, but I don’t have it yet and I’m not sure when I’ll be able to provide it.

Can I still start studying and complete courses like UNIV 1001 (or other Foundation/first-term courses) before the translated diploma is submitted and approved?

Has anyone been in a similar situation, and were you allowed to continue studying while the document was still pending?
