Exact fault class vs condition zone in hydraulic monitoring
I have a question for people who work with hydraulic systems.
When checking accumulator pressure, what do you usually do if the readings or symptoms are not clearly pointing to one exact condition?
For example, if the system looks like it is somewhere between two nearby pressure states, do you normally treat it as a range/zone and verify manually, or do you always try to classify it as one exact state?
I am asking because in real maintenance work, I assume not every reading is perfectly clean. Sometimes conditions may overlap, sensors may vary, or the machine behavior may not clearly match one state.
So in that situation, what is more useful in practice?
- exact state
- pressure range/zone
- warning + manual verification
- some other method
Just trying to understand how this is handled by people who actually work on hydraulic systems.
