vitc mtech integrated cat-3 or btech cse in tier 3 through tnea

so i have read enough in vit sub to know int mtech placements are very low. if im a 9 pointer with decent dsa projects is it easier for me to get a decent job(6-8lpa) in vit or some other college(most probably it will be sairam or saveetha)
