Why is being conservative and redpilled so popular these days?

I’ve seen even children having these red pill ideologies, which is kinda sad to me. I don’t understand how being conservative or right winged got so popular. Now you have teen boys going through a “racist phase” whatever that means and bullying people without a care in the world. When I was in highschool it wasn’t this bad, what happened? I graduated in 2021 btw. Of course there’s ALWAYS been bullies but it’s been really bad lately
