The same old story: horny and stupid, I fell into the trap.

When he made the revelation and started asking me for money, I began acting like a fool and poor.

I was being threatened with being exposed as a pedophile on a forum at my university, and that made me quite uncomfortable. He asked me for $200, and I started by saying that I only had cash and that at most I could send him money through Western Union. I showed signs of cooperation but also of resistance to his pressure. When he became aggressive, I blocked him on WhatsApp and tried to forget about it. Half an hour later, he wrote from a Nigerian number, but with a much calmer tone and willing to negotiate. He started by saying that he had made the post and asked me for more money, and I told him that it didn't make sense to pay him if he had already done so. He confessed that he lied, and we started negotiating. The deal was a $20 gift card, even though he had started with $200.

At that point, I started setting conditions. I told him he could only do that if I bought it from a local store so I could go into debt, and he agreed. I told him he'd have to wait until tomorrow because it was very late in the day and the seller was probably asleep, so he wouldn't get the code until then. This whole situation was very tedious for him, he offer to me a lot of ways to do it and i just answer I CANT. I think they're just as desperate for money as we are with the leaks.

Today we continued talking. He kept pressuring me, and I kept telling him I'd already paid and that he just had to wait a few hours. By this point, we were both calm.

When I received the code, I told him: "Here's your payment. Now I'm going to block you and change my phone number. Have a good life, peace, brother."

There hasn't been any further communication since.
