Another 11th edition rant
The new detachments for chaos came out, and well I just hate to see how much better we could have been, Ec get a detachment for their elite melee units, the rule fight first for all flawless blades(for us it was an upgrade) and inmunity to snapshooting as an upgrade, along with strats for precision, moving through models(usefull on an army with great movement), and a reactive movement to a fall back of d3+3.
Not only are they t5 with a 5+ invuln base, 6 of them cost 200 pts, and do the same damage or sometimes more than our 5 man with marshal and castellan that costs 280 pts. I know that since SB can technically be taken in units of 10 they can't be that powerfull, but come on I would prefer them cost the same as terminators but be better or be limited to a 5 man units.
And I know, I know "boo hoo my army is not broken" "If you want broken go play ultramarines" or "But it will be so fun trowing 80 models against my oponent", yeah I get it, but I love Sword Bros, and it pains me to see them become basically battleline OC 2 needing characters to do something. And also come on we all like winning and seeing that our army and specifically our "elite" unit best plan now is go in 10 man squads is expensive and makes moving the army more complicated. All the while other's factions elite feel actually elite and get even better.
