AirBnb vs other alternatives to book a homestay?

So me and gf are planning to stay for 5 nights here and I’d prefer a homestay with kitchen as we wanna cook our own food. Should i book through airbnb or other apps (MMT, Ixigo etc) that would guarantee us better privacy and no hassles.

I’m looking for homestays within 15-20 mins radius of City centre, do give suggestions if you have any.
