he pumping tip that probably saved me the most stress
I wish someone had told me this when I first started exclusive pumping because I would've saved myself SO much unnecessary stress
In the beginning, I was obsessed with every single pump session. I would finish pumping, look at the bottles, and immediately start comparing them to the previous session.
If I got a little less than usual, I'd start wondering what I did wrong. Did I not drink enough water? Did I eat enough? Was I too stressed? Was my schedule off? My brain would immediately jump into detective mode
The problem was that I was treating every pump like it was some kind of test that I either passed or failed.
Then one day I realized something that honestly changed everything for me.
A single pump session doesn't tell the whole story.
Some sessions are higher. Some are lower. Some days are just weird for no obvious reason. Once I stopped obsessing over every bottle and started looking at the bigger picture instead, I felt so much better mentally.
Another small thing that helped me was keeping all my pumping stuff in one place. Before that, I was constantly searching for parts while half asleep and somehow always missing one piece
It sounds silly, but removing those little frustrations made my days feel so much easier.
Exclusive pumping already takes up so much time and energy. I think one of the biggest tips I can give is not to let one random pump session ruin your whole day.
I definitely learned that lesson the hard way
What's one pumping tip that made a huge difference for you? I'm always looking for little tricks that make this journey a bit easier.
