what do you test first when trying a new AI builder?

I used to test AI builders by asking them to make a nice-looking app.

That was a bad test. Almost all of them can make a nice-looking first screen now.

Lately I test smaller things:

can it edit one part without changing five others?

can it explain what it changed?

can it keep a simple data model consistent?

can I find where the logic lives?

does the app still make sense after the third revision?

The third revision tells me more than the first prompt.

The first prompt shows taste. The third revision shows whether the tool and I can work together.
