put a digital family calendar in the kitchen and my scheduling chaos actually went down like 10%

Technique

idk who needs to hear this but… having a dedicated screen staring at me while i make coffee actually works for my brain.

paper calendars? haven't updated mine in months. shared apps on my phone? completely buried under 400 work slacks and emails. me? just walking around the house trying to remember what i was supposed to do today.

we set up one of those non-subscription smart screens on the wall last month. it just syncs our calendar apps and lists what needs to get done.

downsides: the companion app is honestly a bit clunky when you're setting things up, and if the wifi drops i immediately lose trust in my entire life. but having a central physical dashboard that i physically can't swipe away has cut down our communication friction by a mile. anyone else running a dedicated hardware setup at home or am i just late to the party?
