GInput: Can't sprint while riding a bicycle in GTA San Andreas Classic (PC)

Hey everyone, I need some help. I installed GInput to play GTA San Andreas Classic on PC with a controller, and it's working fine overall. The only problem is that I can't sprint while riding a bicycle. When I press the button that's supposed to make CJ pedal faster, the bike just moves at a normal speed and doesn't accelerate. Does anyone know if there's a setting in GInput that I need to change to fix this? If you've had this issue before and managed to solve it, I'd really appreciate the help.
