Split Stay Honeymoon - 8 Days - Worth it? Suggestions?
Hello!
We are considering a split stay honeymoon in St.Lucia for our June 2027 honeymoon. We would be in St. Lucia for 8 nights. Ideally want to do our first three days in Soufrieres/ near the Pitions then head north, but open to ideas! We want all inclusive or a resort that offers all inclusve (preferably adults only) for both. If we did this, the first three days that are near the Soufrieres, would be our more "excursion days" - waterfall, mud bath, ATV, etc. Then our last few days we want to completely chill.
Our plan so far: We would leave for St. Lucia on Saturday & get there around dinner that same day. Then leave the Soufrieres on Tuesday to go to another resort more north or whatever is suggested that would be more of a "chill all inclusive stay" until we leave on Sunday.
What we are thinking resort wise:
First three days - (Soufrieres/South), two excursions (Sunday & Monday), one resort day total (when we arrive Saturday, when we are leaving Tuesday):
- Sugar Beach
- I know this is family friendly, which is definitely a downside for us, but im wondering how many families actually go. Also curious of the amenities here, is the AI (food/drink) worth it?
- Jade Mountain
- Insane views. Downside to me is there is not direct access to beach and extremely hilly, but very close to all the excursions we would want to do. I believe they offer shuttle around the resort?
- The Zoetry
- Not necessarily Soufrieres, but close enough to get to excursions. Downside, also no beach, but offers pontoon rides to it.
- Any other suggestions here?
Last for days - (our zen days and enjoying amenities on resort)
-
Any Sandals
- suggestions? not sure if this is too far from the south, but assume we would hire a private driver and that would be a cool way to see the island, I do not get car sick at all.
-
Serenity by Cocobay
- seems great and relaxing, but also family friendly on the other side. Views seem not as good.
-
Any other I am missing?
Lastly, do we think this is a good idea? Or are we better off staying North and visiting the Soufrieres on an excursion day.
Thank you if you read this far :)
