I’ve decided to start exploring my natural curly/wavy hair texture again since my hair has started to get very thin and lacks volume when I style it straight (I think due to very high stress the last few years). After years of getting highlights semi-regularly, my ends are stringy and straight/wavy compared to my natural roots. Has anyone found a way to get their damaged ends to match their healthier roots without cutting a lot of length? I really enjoy having long hair, should I just curl my ends with an iron since they’re already dead, just so it matches the rest of my hair? 😅

Current curl routine:
\-Wash twice with shampoo (my hair gets oily fast because of hair L0ss)
\-condition with “not your mothers” curly girl conditioner (brushed through with wet brush)
\-keep my hair very wet for the next few steps
\-ouai leave in conditioner (brushed through with wet brush)
\-“not your mothers” curly girl curl cream with prayer hands and scrunched
\-miss jessies jelly soft curls with prayer hands and scrunched
\-blow dry my roots first, then blow dry with the diffuser upside down

Side note- I know my hair is very frizzy from the diffuser too. I don’t like it, but I don’t know how else to get my ends to curl at least a little

How do I get my bleached ends to not be so straight and stringy?
