Anyone else struggling getting summon items?

I’ve been playing for a while, have maxed out everything through the cave set (minus companionship), and want to start working on the next ones but can’t seem to get summon items for those sets. Currently I’m trying to work on the Tropical set because I have the rare and common to max out but no tropical items. As far as I’m aware there isn’t currently a quest for these items? Any other tips for maxing out dragons? I try to save my lay egg decorations for my legendaries.
