Does being raised by a nparent affect how work colleagues treat you?
I went to a team activity day in a job where we work from home. So I don’t meeet these people face to face. The small group of my team I was with were doing orienteering in a local park as an “activity” of several team activities.
I was with them and trying to understand the task and no one would tell me the objective. Then I struggled to keep up with their pace and they just outright abandoned me on my own as they walked off without me. I was
walking with them trying to keep up one minute and then they were all gone the next. I went home early because no one even noticed I was missing or asked where I was or if I was ok. I hadn’t a clue where the had gone. I actually got fully home before getting a text message.
Things like this happen more often than could be considered an anomaly!!!!!
Do we “give off something”? I am of course incredibly hurt again but what are people picking up on that I get treated like a nothing and nobody by people that I don’t even know? It’s a pattern I wonder if anyone else notices.
