Is Brendan Sorsby good enough for all this Texas Tech backlash and legal fighting?

I know Sorsby is supposed to be good, but are we sure he is actually good? He mostly piled up stats against bad teams or when they were getting blown out at Cinci. Over the last 2 sesons he's ended with 9 conference losses, 5 in 2024 and 4 last year. Most importantly QB GAWD Cignetti wanted nothing to do with him which is a huge red flag for me.

Also with all that NIL money imagine how bad his gambling problem is going to be this year!!
