Potion Roulette Wheel Idea

I had a funny idea for a challenge build and I was wondering if its even possible.

With the Metamorphosis mutation, you can activate a random decoction with a crit and I was wondering if this would also activate the perk where the game gives you a random potion when you activate a potion? Side Effects I think its called.

The idea I had for the challenge is that I cannot physically drink any potions and I keep every single potion and decoction in the game in my inventory so whenever I crit its like a lucky dip or a roulette wheel of which decoction and potion will be activated.

Would be quite funny since it turns it into full RNG and you could get a really terrible potion or decoction in the middle of a hectic fight or you could pull the perfect one leading to some fun moments with a million different buffs and effects going on at once. Maybe bombs can also be used in this build.

Would this actually work how I think?
