If you’ve had chest pain on accutane – what was it like?

I’m 6 months into accutane (24 mg) and yesterday woke up with a weird chest pain that is hard to describe and locate. I saw a doctor today and had an ECG and a CT scan because I have some chronic heart and veins conditions and both didn’t show anything dangerous or unusual for me (still seeing a cardiologist soon as it’s been a while since my last visit). I’ve also had on-and-off lower back pain for a few years and it has started to flare up more often after starting accutane. Lastly, I’m a very anxious person but it has never manifested physically before.

Basically I haven’t ever experienced a chest pain like this. It is bearable but uncomfortable when I’m changing positions. I can breathe deeply and it’s painless if I’m careful, only some tightness sensation. After I breathe out there is some pulsing short pain under my ribs? Yesterday it was a little bit uncomfortable to talk but now it’s okay. I wonder if it’s just my middle back acting up because of accutane.

Not seeking medical advice obviously, honestly I just want to vent and also to know what was your experience if you’ve ever had this “side effect”?
