Irregular Periods, How to Track Ovulation?

I (21F) have had irregular periods for as long as I can remember. 35-45 day cycle length on average but can go a bit longer when I stress. I'm currently at 55 days since the start of my last period and I have tested negative for pregnancy.

I just want to know if there is a way to keep track of ovulation for the girlies who have irregular periods. I do not use hormonal birth control. I know there is copper IUD and condoms. But this post is to see how I can just avoid my ovulation week by tracking naturally. if that makes any sense at all. I am not trying for a baby and definitely do not want to have a baby right now so I'm just wondering if any other girlies with irregular cycles track ovulation as their form of BC and how that works.
