What do you guys think of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid ? (English)

I've been considering applying to Universidad Carlos III de Madrid to study Data Science and Engineering. However, I'm unsure about the quality of education there and student life in general. Since I'd be moving from Singapore to Spain, I want to make sure that the university and the area will be a good fit for me. Is there anything important I should know about Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the surrounding area before making the move? I can speak Spanish to a degree. I'm currently B1 working towards B2.
