Does casual sex on vacation help couples?

Hello, I am M35 and my partner F30. I was wondering what you think about casual sex with strangers in vacation. In particular, I mean the possibility, far from all acquaintances and prying eyes, of defining in advance with our partner that during those days we are free, without obsessive pursuit, to indulge in this freedom. We basically said to each other: it could happen to me or you that someone flirts or that we talk to people who might spark that kind of interest, so if that happens, we are completely free to do what we like. I ask this here because my answer is "obviously yes," but I know my thinking goes against what many people think. And in particular, I ask myself: if I have this belief at 35, how can someone who is perhaps 50 with many years of relationships behind them and, in many cases, an unfulfilling sex life not have the same belief?
