I think Vyvanse might be helping me unmask?

I've been on stimulants before - I was diagnosed ADHD back in the 2000s. It helped me get things done, but I eventually acclimated and at doses where it did anything, it's bad effects outweighed the good ones.

Now that I have an ASD Dx, I have a different perspective.. 1. that I've been in autistic burnout all of my adult life, and 2. that stimulants might actually help me unmask. I can't reign in the energy I have as much now, and I'm likely to say things that I mean and feel that I usually would mask away. For example, in therapy, I can tell my therapist now that I don't think she understands me, or that she's wrong, or not getting what I'm trying to say. In another example, today at work I had a video call with a new teammate. we said the things we needed to say, and there was like 20 minutes left. they were like "do you have more questions for me?" and I was like "nope. holler at me if you need anything" rather than trying to think of small talk.

This will probably get me into trouble eventually, but it seems kind of exciting to tell people I don't care about whatever it is they're trying to bother me with.

no questions or advice sought.. Just wanted to share this with you folks.
