What constitutes reviewing an email?
I am reviewing a summary of my retainer charges and see a number of charges for “reviewing email” for basically every email I sent the attorney.
I am currently going through all the emails to confirm, but it looks like I am even being charged for my acknowledgment emails meaning the ones I sent to acknowledge receiving their email. One email literally just said “thanks”.
These charges are $100+ each. Is this common? Should I not write a confirmation of receipt? I feel like I can’t communicate with my attorney without getting hit with a fee.
I am trying to evict someone from a house I bought and I’m already over $5000 without even sending out anything to the person or the courts.
