What is one creature that you think would make a good riding partner?

This is my first time posting here, but I was curious which animal or creature from literature, fiction, mythology, or other sources that you think would be good for riding like a horse? And why do you think they would be good at it? It doesn't matter how cliche or impossible your answer might be, I just think it's an interesting idea.
