‘Miami’ at 2:30 should have been the general foundation for the song

The change of the rhythm is deep and punchy and laid back. Adam’s bass skips and bounces along with a swagger. I love the whining synth that sounds like a swing rocking in the wind at an empty playground. I generally like Bono’s approach to the lyrics “I bought two new suits—Miami.” But yes my mammy is a little face palming. The song makes the summer outside temperature feel like 105F/41C. Just a good rhythm-focused song. I think good rhythm focused songs do U2 great favors. Pop is littered with this.
