TCL 27G64 (HVA) visible grid or interlacing artifacts at 60hz. Using it for ps5
I have recently purchased a TCL 27G64 to upgrade from an old IPS and get rid from it´s poor contrast and glow. The monitor is fantastic and i´m pleasantly surprised of it´s non existent black smearing and ghosting (At least it´s impossible for me to perceive it). The thing is that at 60hz (the frequency that the vast majority of games run at on ps5) it´s like the image has kind of a filter were you can intuit the pixel grid, i really don´t know how to explain it, but it´s a noticeable and distracting thing. At 120hz the image is perfectly smooth. I have tried all the possible combinations with the local dimming, overdrive and freesync but it doesn´t make any difference. I have just recently been learning about monitors to upgrade and maybe i shouldn´t have chosen an hva to use at 60hz and have upgraded to a better IPS. My question is that if this is a normal thing and a flaw inherent to the technology or if it shouldn´t happen and something must be wrong with my unit.
Thank you to whomever has taken the time to read and answer
