Young family italy holidays 2027

My wife and I along with our baby (he will be around 18 months by summer 2027) are considering Italy next year for our summer holidays. Is there anywhere that you would recommend for a young family with decent apartments and nearby supermarkets, shops etc. We are currently in Alvor and have a supermarket on our doorstep which we have found extremely handy and a 5 minute walk to town. My wife and I have been to Portugal 5 or 6 times so just looking to mix it up. All ideas welcome :-)
