New TV?

Hey everyone,
I'm getting ready to move this weekend into a bigger house. I'll finally get a basement, and until this point my wife and I had shared one TV. It's an LG OLED CX that will end up on the main level. In my basement, l'll have to get a new TV. I have a UB820, and will use it for gaming + watching movies. I had a couple questions.

1. Are Panasonic OLED TVs comparable to LG? I read that Panasonic allows for both HDR10+ & Dolby Vision, which is appealing. But if Panasonic is a noticeable step down from LG l'Il just get another LG.
2. New Panasonic OLED's (among many others) advertise having Al built into the TV. What does the Al even do? I'd like to avoid anything involving Al if possible.
