Same Job Id got reopened as engineer after showing closed for senior engineer

"Has anyone experienced a job opening being closed for a Senior Engineer role, only to be reopened under the regular Engineer title with the exact same Job ID? I completed four rounds of interviews for the senior position but when i called manager he said he will update soon. What does this closing and reopening typically mean for candidates currently in the pipeline?"
