Anyone tried indoor growing?

I’m in a climate that is fairly tropical and even during winter the days are still relatively warm… so definitely not ideal conditions for somniferums…

I was thinking of 3D printing myself up some vertical flowers, sow individual seeds into small, individual pre-moisturised peat moss squares, putting them in the fridge for a few days to get cold stratification going. Then having them in a temperature controlled environment by reusing a compressor system from an old chest freezer and having a cut-off switch when it’s at the ideal temperature range…

Not doing anything large scale or anything. Just a few vertical towers…

Just thought I’d see if anyone’s done anything similar or if anyone’s got any tips, tricks or advice it would be much appreciated.
