Gemini New Moon
Here's what I wrote for the Gemini New Moon. I'm always looking for astrology friends if anyone out there want to chat.
When I was a kid I couldn’t wait to be an adult. After learning about rent, food, and other bills, I realized there’s nothing further from the truth. Fast forward a few decades and all I can think about is how happy 1989 was. Whatever your age, each New Moon has the same philosophy just served on a different platter. Learn about yourself and how you function as an individual. As the mutable air sign, Gemini connects with our emotions through words and academic type interactions. This alignment also allows you to articulate your feelings through things like emails, texts, or even hand written letters on a more intimate level. It also allows you to get in touch with your artistic side. Rather than use basic conversation, write songs or draw pictures to embody how you feel. Unleash your inner Picasso and express yourself through the abstract. The biggest problem during this alignment is the lack of ability to pay attention. In fact, Webster's dictionary needs to put the symbol for Gemini right next to their definition of ADHD. The effects are simple. As soon as you sit down to accomplish one thing, something else pops into your head and now you're chasing random butterflies throughout the house. You might be doing one thing but you're thinking about another all while singing the same verse from a stupid kid song over and over and over again. Too many petty random distractions divert your 100% attention which results in your final product showing less than 100% effort. Anyone who can figure out how to quickly transition from one process to the next will handle this alignment better than those who can’t. Think of yourself as an octopus, learning how to use all eight tentacles to do eight different things all at once. You’ll achieve great success if you can get each arm playing to the beat of the same drum.
Gemini loves triggering memories from the past. Especially those from your youth and childhood years. Sometimes these recollections are traumatic and become the source of your emotional scars. Now is a great time to start any type of recovery or health program. Make an actual written list of what you want done and how long you think it will take to accomplish it. Individual growth will only occur after inner reflection. The more you progress on the inside the more you’ll show it on the outside. A great thing to think about during this phase is “What triggers my negative emotions and how do I handle them?” Like when some @$$hole cuts you off in traffic. Do you curse and swear then tailgate the hell out of them like I do? Hopefully you’re a lot calmer and don’t allow others to set you off like that. Road rage is a perfect example of how you can go from calm and cool to f!@# you motherf!@#er in an instant. Once you’ve identified your problem or desire, you can figure out a solution then set goals to accomplish it. Just remember the process won’t work unless you complete each step thoroughly and in proper order. House placement becomes important because it shows the manner you feel the most free to communicate your emotions. Be cautious as to whom you communicate these feelings to. You might temporarily relieve some stress, but not everyone you meet has your best intention in mind. When you divulge too much information to the wrong person usually comes back to haunt you. Remember that the walls have ears and little birdies chirp, it’s absolutely amazing how fast gossip can spread.
