I need help with disassembling an altar due to personal issues

I need to disassemble my Athena altar, due to some kids coming to live in my room, and when they come, at some point there will be a home inspection and anything could get those kids taken, and if we're not careful, I possibly could get taken too. I know Lady Athena would understand, but how to go about it?
