Have you ever skipped sections of a book/entire books because they were too disturbing?
I am still fairly new to Stephen King novels, and I think I do OK with disturbing things, but I’m realizing I have a sensitivity when it comes to animals. I finally encountered something in the novel, It, that I simply had to skip through. I did some digging on this sub and found that I’m not alone in finding the Patrick Hockstetter stuff a bit too disturbing.
I also don’t plan on reading Cujo. Is there anything else I should avoid? And has this ever happened to you? Am I a huge wimp?
