QOL suggestion to allow clan leaders or CO to donate gold passes or event passes to members of their own clan with just in clan friend status

I've got a member of my clan who is one of the few members to make every single attack in CWL. He rarely gets any stars because his TH lvl is low but be still mamanges to make every single attack. Besides my accounts he is normally the only one to do so. We give bonuses based on stars though (that's what the clan decided when I asked them what they wanted to do, not just my decision) and I feel bad this guy gets so little out of it. I wanted to give him a gold pass for all his efforts in the clan as a reward but found it pretty hard to do so. I though I would have to be friends but it turns out you have to be supercell friends and not just clash of clans friends. Plus there are restrictions on certain areas of the world you can't send it to and apparently you can't send it to someone under 16. It feels like this should be an easier process and now I'm sort of not as excited about giving out my player ID or something in clan chat to become friends with someone. Seems like a good way to get your account stolen. I was hoping to make some sort of lottery system to give out a gold pass in CWL to a member who made their attacks each day.
