Contractor demanding full payment before damage addressed

I hired a flooring company to replace tiles in my kitchen. There were lots of issues, some stemming from the fact that they didn’t do a dry layout of the tiles. But the worst thing is they gouged my wood floors by dragging the refrigerator across them. So they said they would sand/seal that area of floor, but not for another couple weeks. Meanwhile, I received a final bill. I cannot see paying the full bill until the damage is addressed, but how should I respond? I have already paid about a third. Thanks for any advice.
