Brunson’s Dad as his coach is a topic that you hardly, if ever, hear any mention about, whether from NBA pundits or players.

I wonder if the offensive freedom that Brunson has been given has anything to do with his Dad being on the coaching staff, and his influence? It seems a little odd and childish in a way to have your Dad as a coach as a grown adult on a professional team. It just feels very AAU. I wonder what his teammates think of this situation?
