Foggy atmosphere snare sound

Hello all, I'm curious to see if I can get a foggy atmospheric snare sound.... I play in a ritualistic doom band!!!! I currently have a tama metalworks steel snare 14x6.5.... I have a evans hydraulic head on it currently but it sounds more "dead" than I want 😅 I was thinking maybe a coated ambassador and copper snare wires??? Any help is greatly appreciated
