Forbidden fruit

Whispers of her name in my ears

I heard the echoes of desire

The longing of taste

And the temptation of touch

As I reached for you

A strong connection of mind, body and soul brew

Weakened the chains restraining my thoughts

A battle between love and lessons taught

Peel the skin off with my teeth

Burst of sweetness on my lips

A ripening taste lingering all over my tongue

is this what we call heavenly love ?
