Am I the only one to think it’s silly people are going to eBay to try and sell sprites?

Basically what the title states. I have always been an apex enjoyer but my friends talked me into playing Fortnite after many of years saying the game was trash. Well I’m out here trying to save the babies y’all and I’m also enjoying getting over 20kc in solos b2b2b. Living my best life. The only issue I see is this is a free game but people are going online to sell the most rare sprite for a decent chuck of change. I know people in games do this. The toxic apex player in me wants to continue solos and grinding dust to circulate the most rare sprite in duos. I’ve been using my dust to circulate the basic golds to the community but should I stop gatekeeping gold zero and full send it to the community? I don’t want people rushing to buy a sprite (I think it’s silly but I understand the parasites in people take over sometimes) but I also don’t want to ruin the fun for the hunters. Thoughts?
