Are you glad you re enlisted? Or do you regret it?

Honestly i cant stop contemplating whether or not to re enlist. Ive been in almost 6 years as an IT. My first duty station was shore in Japan and I always complained about how much i hated being in the navy and the lack of that feeling of freedom you get as a civilian blah blah im sure you’ve all heard sailors with this complaint 100x over.
But after going to an actual ship i dont know how i could ever complain about my shore duty. It was actually a dream job in comparison to being on the ship.

Anyways i got to my new duty station with like 2 years left on my contract and my eaos is coming up next year.
SRB is looking decent so ive been considering if i got picked up for another tour back overseas i might stay in, and honestly i was pretty convinced on myself to do it because who wouldnt want more time to save money and be prepared to separate AND get to party overseas a little more while im still young.

But i guess i cant convince myself because one minute im ready to go back and the next im planning my exit strategy.

So i guess what im here for is seeing what people think from experience, did anyone regret staying in? Or getting out?
