Proud of my kiddo

I’m a frequent platelet donor (O+) and have always encouraged my kids to do it. They are in their 20’s now and have never really been interested. Until now…..one has no money cuz she’s in a 2yr radiology tech program and doesn’t have time for a job. LifeSouth rolls in with a $25 gift card this week for whole blood, I sent the info to her and she went today!! Full disclosure….I offered to meet her at the donor center and take her to lunch afterwards but I’m still so super proud of her!

And….found out she has type A blood (will find out if negative when her results post). Fun!
