On June 10, 2026, Bill Gates gave a closed-door interview to the House Oversight Committee. He published his prepared remarks on gatesnotes.com the same day. From those remarks:

>I never witnessed nor had any indication that Epstein was engaged in ongoing criminal conduct. I never went to his island, his ranch, or his Florida home.

— Gates statement, June 10, 2026

>I was introduced to Epstein in 2011... My interactions with Epstein began with a limited number of preliminary meetings—three in 2011 and two in 2012... Our interactions ended in December 2014... I told him we would go no further and stopped communicating or meeting with him.

— Gates statement, June 10, 2026

Below are 20 documents from the DOJ and House Oversight releases. Every quote is verbatim, typos included.

# 1. The flight to Palm Beach, March 1, 2013

The handwritten passenger manifest for Epstein's Gulfstream N909JE, trip 2250, March 1, 2013, Teterboro 12:16 PM to West Palm Beach 2:47 PM, crew Larry Visoski and David Rodgers:

>1 Passenger: Jeffrey Epstein. 2 Passenger: Bill Gates. 3 Passenger: \[name blacked out\]

— jmail.world/drive/HOUSE\_OVERSIGHT\_006289.jpg

The handwriting on line 2 is unambiguous. Note the third passenger: the name is redacted with a black box, the same treatment the House release uses to protect victims' identities.

The emails around it. Epstein's assistant Lesley Groff to Epstein, Feb 28, 2013:

>Al Spallings, Bill Gates security man, called to let me know only Bill will be flying down on the plane with you...no security will be traveling with him. Bill plans to heli down to Teterboro tomorrow at around 11am

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01762479

A FlightAware alert forwarded in Epstein's inbox on Mar 1, 2013, under a subject line reading Bill Gates:

>N909JE arrived at KPBI from KTEB. They have landed!

— epstein-data.com/EFTA02146301

Epstein to publicist Peggy Siegal, the evening of Mar 1, 2013:

>Im in palm beach, with bill gates at the house

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01901796

There are also photos. Gates posed with Epstein's chief pilot Larry Visoski at the stairs of Epstein's black Gulfstream (EFTA01137206), and with the other pilot from that flight, David Rodgers, at the same jet (EFTA01144638).

# 2. The other houses

Epstein, Jul 1, 2013:

>re Bill yes he left early from my house in paris. ehud will be in new york with me in sept. along with many current world leaders.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01968383

Photos place Gates and Epstein together in that Paris living room (EFTA01135463, EFTA01190763). Epstein to Tom Barrack, Jan 9, 2012, about his New York townhouse:

>IN the dining room there are photos of Bill Gates with Larry Summers taken at the house the other day, should I have someone take them down

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01844429

A photo matching that description — Summers, Epstein, Gates, and Gates's adviser Boris Nikolic standing together — is in the files (EFTA01164490; a wider shot of the same group adds JPMorgan's Jes Staley, EFTA01238359).

# 3. The dinners started in 2010, and what was scheduled before them

His statement says he was introduced in 2011. The first dinner was set for Dec 6, 2010. Epstein to his assistant, Nov 28, 2010:

>6 th now.. girls should be form 5-7 gates from 7-

— epstein-data.com/EFTA02414311

Gates's office, Dec 2, 2010:

>After talking with Melinda I have decided to leave New York City after the Pete Peterson meeting. So this means I won't be able to do the dinner with Jeff Epstein. I was looking forward to the dinner.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA02410629

The next day Epstein's assistant confirmed the dinner with Gates and Nikolic was back on for that Monday evening (EFTA02413842). Four years later, Epstein to former White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler, Sep 19, 2014:

>"girls?", careful i will renew an old habit, this week, thiel, summers, bill burns, gordon brown, jagland, (council of europe and nobel chairman)... boris (gates)... leon black, woody. you are a welcome guest at any....

— epstein-data.com/EFTA02518446

# 4. What Epstein delivered: the Nobel committee chairman

Gates directly to Epstein, Aug 10, 2013, about a private dinner with Thorbjørn Jagland, chairman of the Nobel Peace Prize committee:

>I will get back to you on the dinner. I would like to do it.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01964007

The dinner happened Sep 20, 2013: Bill and Melinda Gates, Rød-Larsen, and Jagland (EFTA02126899). A Norwegian investigative reporter, in a 2020 email found in the files, described his paper's reporting this way:

>revealing how he managed to get Bill Gates through the doors of the Nobel Peace Prize committee's leader in 2013

— epstein-data.com/EFTA00020923

A photo shows Jagland, Rød-Larsen, Nikolic, Gates, and Epstein together (EFTA01238077).

# 5. The money

Epstein to JPMorgan, Aug 17, 2011, designing a charitable fund around Gates:

>Bill is terribly frustrated... billions of dollars. the first two years. tens of billions by year 4. timelimne depends only on jpm ability to organizze, legal, structure internet presence, staffing.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01301108

Gates to Epstein, Sep 26, 2014, agreeing to pitch the donor-advised fund (DAF) Epstein was building with JPMorgan:

>Next week I start Monday in Washington DC mostly seeing Executive branch people including the President on the budget and Ebola... Then I have a dinner with a bunch of people. I can easily talk about the DAF approach at the dinner. Ray Dalio and Paul Tudor Jones and others will be at both events.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA02386397

Epstein to MIT Media Lab director Joi Ito, Sep 7, 2013:

>Bill Gates has asked if he can join me in an endeavor. Is there a structure at you Lab, where a donation could be used for deception fun etc.?... We could park it in Kevin's lab.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01956683

MIT's 2020 investigation, found in the files, on the $2 million Gates gift that followed:

>a $2 million gift from the Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates had been "directed by Jeffrey Epstein." In a subsequent email, another official at the lab wrote that "for gift recording purposes, we will not be mentioning Jeffrey's name as the impetus for this gift."

— epstein-data.com/EFTA00064817

The Gates Foundation also funded the International Peace Institute, run by Epstein's friend Terje Rød-Larsen, who reported the foundation meeting directly to Epstein, Sep 12, 2013:

>She suggested $1 million in general operating support (unrestricted), beginning Oct 1... She then suggested a 2nd proposal for support of polio eradication, peace & health, and cooperation in the Middle East for $4m.

# 6. The Nikolic separation and the blackmail file

In 2013 Gates's science adviser Boris Nikolic left his office. From the Gates statement:

>This employee engaged Epstein to negotiate and advise him on the terms of the separation. I did not ask—nor did I want or need—Epstein to be involved in this matter.

— Gates statement, June 10, 2026

Gates himself, directly to Epstein, Jul 11, 2013:

>Larry Cohen is authorized to talk to you about the employment issues with Boris. Larry said I should send mail making this clear.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01965135

Cohen later sent Epstein the separation agreement for input (EFTA01962212), and Gates's firing email was forwarded to Epstein the day after it was sent (EFTA01966401). A week after the authorization email, Epstein wrote three drafts of a fake resignation letter in Nikolic's voice. Never sent, as far as the files show:

>From helping Bill to get drugs, in order to deal with consequences of sex with russian girls, to facilictating his illicit trysts, with married women, to being asked to provide adderall fro bridge tournamnts.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01966988 (drafts also at EFTA01966772, EFTA01967726)

The morning of the second draft, Epstein's assistant confirmed Nikolic for a 9am breakfast at Epstein's townhouse (EFTA02133438). The Gates statement confirms the pressure campaign:

>Epstein was working to use information about my infidelities—in addition to many lies that he layered on top—to pressure me to re-engage with him.

— Gates statement, June 10, 2026

# 7. The debt, and after it "ended"

Epstein to Gates, Jun 4, 2014:

>Please know that I sincerely appreciate you saying that "you are in my debt", however I don't see it that way. I think friends help each other.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA01922180

His statement says contact stopped in December 2014. In February 2017, Epstein wrote to Gates offering to place former White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler with him and Melinda in Seattle (EFTA02659632). In September 2017, Epstein sent Gates a trip report he co-authored with former Microsoft executive Steven Sinofsky, and Gates replied into the thread agreeing the topics were exciting (EFTA00707678, EFTA00640752). And Epstein to Gates and Gates's longtime adviser Larry Cohen, Jan 5, 2019 — six months before Epstein's arrest:

>hi, hope you guys had a nice holiday, I think at some point you want to reimburse me. I feel awkward asking, but makes little sense.

— epstein-data.com/EFTA02606604

Face recognition across the released files identifies Gates in 101 photos, 26 of them with Epstein in the frame, plus a series with different young women whose faces the committee redacted. The Gates statement calls meeting Epstein a grave error in judgement and says he never witnessed any crime. The documents are public; read them and judge.

Bill Gates told Congress he never went to Epstein's Florida home. Here is what the Epstein files say about that, his other comments, and their relationship.
