Complete beginner looking for a fun travel camera — Fujifilm or Canon SX740 HS ?

Hey everyone!

Not trying to get into “serious” photography at all — I just want a fun camera to bring on trips and capture everyday moments without relying on my phone. Something I can just point and shoot and get great results.

I’ve been eyeing a couple of options:

•	Fujifilm — I love the look and feel of them, the film simulations seem really fun. Fujifilm x 100vi is one I’m interested in.       
•	Canon SX740 HS — seems compact and practical with a great zoom

Anyone have experience with either ? Or any other recommendations?
