First ghsv1 outbreak

My first outbreak was in one small area. About 3 sores max right by the opening of my vagina. The outbreak had pretty much healed itself prior to even getting antivirals. If I wasn’t looking at it or touching the area then I wouldn’t have known anything was happening down there.

It stayed in one area and didn’t spread and truly it wasn’t the worst most painful thing like a lot of people describe.

I’m curious if anyone with similar experiences found that their recurring OBs were mild or maybe never got another one?

Could the fact that my first OB was so mild mean that my body had a good immune response and my outbreaks in the future are less likely to be bad or to recur at all?

Not sure if there is science behind mild first outbreaks but just curious people’s thoughts/ experiences or if there’s science behind that
