Sharing Registry on FB

I’ve seen this question a bunch of times but still on the fence. I live in a state with none of my close relatives, they’re spread out in a bunch of different states across the coast so I’m not having a shower. feel like it would be a hassle to plan everything here and ask everyone to fly out, book hotels etc. due to that I was just going to share my registry. most of my family members are on facebook I’d figure posting saves me the hassle and post the link in case they want it with a cute announcement. my Facebook has like old friends and family people I grew up with from my home town less than like 300 people. my bf is more fortunate as his friends and fam are all in town.

is it still weird to post? what do you mamas think? other than that I was just gonna include the link on my announcement flyer me and bf could send to fam. not all of mine are on Facebook so still making sure they get something cute too since there’s no officially events going on
