To the good people of Reddit,
I would like to formally apologize for the fact that several of you had to witness me live-stream my escape from a trauma bond in real time.
Apparently posting 47 variations of “this man is the human equivalent of a flat tire” is frowned upon by the Reddit gods.
In my defense, healing is ugly.
One minute you’re practicing self-love and boundaries.
The next minute you’re writing a doctoral thesis on why your ex belongs in a traveling circus.
Thankfully, I have progressed from the “burn it all down” stage to the “that’s unfortunate and I’m going to therapy” stage.
Growth.
Personal growth.
Character development.
Whatever we’re calling it.
To everyone who tolerated my descent into emotionally sponsored chaos, thank you.
To everyone who told me to block him, you were annoyingly correct.
To Reddit, thank you for the three-day timeout. Apparently I needed a nap.
Respectfully,
A recovering professional ex-hater who is trying very hard to become a better person and only roast people recreationally.
